2/ What is your most memorable trip before you took on the “Red Bull – Brave to conquer Son Doong” challenge?

On Tết (Lunar New Year) last year, my friend and I went on a motorcycle trip to Cape Tanjung Piai – the southernmost point of Mainland Eurasia in Johor Bahru, the southernmost point of Mainland Malaysia. The trip only costs us 17 million VND per person *laughing*.

In addition, I also ran a small project to find out the shortest street in Saigon and received some recognition from my peers.

3/ What were the sources of motivation behind your determination to participate in the “Red Bull – Brave to Conquer Son Doong” contest and finish Red Bull Champion Dash (RBCD)?

A friend from my motorcycle traveling (phượt) community shared his submission online and tagged my name to encourage me to join. After reading and understanding the mechanics, I found the contest very interesting and the big gift irresistible: an adventure to Son Doong. I should definitely give it a try *smiling*.

4/ Out of the 18 RBCD challenges, which challenge took you the longest to overcome?

The most difficult challenge for me was probably the one where I had to go through the blue tube, must have been named … Sewer Rat or something like that *laughing*. Because it was pretty hot that day, I felt quite suffocated while I was inside the tube. Without any ropes, I had to use my hands and knees to move at a very slow pace. Plus, the tube was tight for my “panda” body *laughing*.

5/ Did any "companions" help you get through that difficult challenge? How did you became acquaintances?

I was so grateful. Seeing me struggled with the challenge, some people who did not know me at all decided to help push me out of the tube. Friendship comes from everywhere! After conquering the challenge, I showed my appreciation with the biggest smile and a thumb-up to show that I am “ok!” to my new friends *smiling*.

6 / What is your most memorable moment from Red Bull Champion Dash?

I remember every detail of the contest, from the day I wrote my submission for the first round. Everything happened so fast and amazing.

7 / How will you plan your “training” for your upcoming adventures/challenges?

My plan is to conquer several mountains with beautiful sceneries and challenging trekking paths so that I can challenge my physicality and improve my appearance every weekend.
